Anti depressants yes or no?

A lot of people have mixed feelings about anti depressants for various reasons.  I was one of them for years until I realised that was the only cure for myself.  Before I started taking tablets I tried a lot of different therapy’s such as group dispersion therapy and private CBT which stands for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.  This doesn’t work for everyone and unfortunately didn’t work for me.

I was diagnosed with autism as you know whilst being in university and the first question they asked me was about how I felt about taking tablets.  My response was this ‘I’ve tried everything, nothing has helped, if you give me a very mild dose I will see how I feel.’

Since then I have been on the lowest dosage of fluoxetine which is a very mild drug.  It takes a few months for it to work but it’s very effective and stops most of my mood swings, social phobia cannot be cured by this but when you’re alone it forbids you to be angry.  Another effect I’ve noticed is that I can no longer cry, if I do it’s very rare when I’m in complete agony.
